The OG newsletter is all about recognizing the success of our membership. We want to showcase our people, and push them (you) along as much as our reach/influence will afford us. It’s my great honor to help in this regard, and in usual fashion, I will start with a thought.
There’s a wonderful saying I like from The Big Short, and it goes like “Truth is like poetry and people f*g hate poetry.” I have it written on my whiteboard, which it pinned up above my monitors. It reminds me to face the things I like to avoid. The tasks that sit on my to-do list forever. It reminds me. Be it my taxes, or the margins on the product I am too proud to get rid of 😛
Looking back at my very short, 7 years in business, I feel that just might be the best advice I can offer anyone. Always look truth right in the f*g face. It’s usually this stuff that will make the biggest impact.
This past month I counted a lot of really great member achievements, contributions, discussions & more. I have done my best to curate these into the list that you’ll find below. I’ve also included some great reads, posts and listens that I stumbled upon throughout the month.
Haven’t logged into the OnlineGeniuses Slack group lately? You’re missing out! Log-In and say ‘Hi’. I miss you!

Each month I try to bring you my favorite articles, books and casts. I am a total information glutton. More inputs than I could possibly action in my lifetime. I don’t recommend this, but it sure makes recommending good reading/listening easy!
I am committed to devouring 2-4 books each month, and reporting back on which made an impact. I will also list books that are absolute essentials. Here’s a few recent and past favorites:
