If you’ve read any of these emails, you’re probably thinking… “this guy has zero willpower.” I admit, I spend all my days thinking of new strategies to motivate my lazy ass. I may just be the least motivated entrepreneur ever. Which is okay, because I have systems in place to catch me when I start drifting. Here is one of my recent faves:
Every Sunday, I jot down everything I am going to do the coming week, the amount of time each item will take, and in what order (priority) it will be completed. I use the Productivity Planner to map this out, I highly recommend it. It changed the game.
Here’s where it changed again: I started mapping out which day and time I would tackle each item. Open your calendar (you still use a calendar right?), and start plugging in each task. For example, on Wednesday for 1 hour, from 1PM to 2PM, I will search for new admin panel themes.
The theory is: if it gets scheduled, it gets done.
Try it out!
